Welcome to SketchX. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. SketchX is an Android development utility designed to aid developers in project management, vector graphics tinting, and version tracking.
Key Privacy Guarantee: SketchX does not collect, store, or transmit your private source code, GitHub tokens, or personal identifiers to any third-party private servers.
2. Information We Collect
SketchX processes minimal data strictly necessary for app functionality:
Local Device Storage Data: Project files, local Git history, preference configurations, and cached SVG icons are stored locally on your device storage.
GitHub Personal Access Tokens: If you connect GitHub, your authentication token is saved exclusively in encrypted private device preferences to enable repository sync and pull/push operations.
Usage Limits & Timestamps: Local timestamps tracking your session time to manage free tier usage limits and rewarded extra access hours.
3. Third-Party Services
To support free features and subscription management, SketchX integrates the following verified Google SDKs:
Google Play Billing API: Handles secure in-app purchases and subscription verifications. Purchase tokens and transaction validation are processed through Google Play Services.
Google AdMob: Displays banner ads, rewarded video ads, and interstitial ads for non-subscribed users. AdMob may collect anonymous device advertising identifiers (GAID) in compliance with Google Ad Policies.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google): Collects anonymized crash logs, stack traces, device OS version, and performance metrics when an error occurs to help us diagnose bugs and improve app stability. No personally identifiable source code or personal data is attached to crash reports.
Firebase Analytics (Google): Tracks anonymized usage events (such as activity navigation and feature interactions) to help us analyze feature engagement and optimize user experience.
4. Data Security
Your local code and repository credentials never leave your device unless you explicitly perform a GitHub Sync action directly to your specified repository URL. We use standard Android sandbox permissions and secure storage mechanisms to prevent unauthorized access.
5. Account Deletion & Data Removal
In accordance with Google Play's user data policies and privacy rights, users can request the permanent deletion of their SketchX account, profile data, synced credentials, and associated records at any time.
